Here at LHS, we combine a culture of high expectations for personal and academic achievement with small-town values and a family atmosphere. We feature a caring, compassionate and highly skilled team of educators and administrative staff who are always willing to go the extra mile to help our students succeed. Our students show their #WolfpackPride by representing their community with class.

We are a comprehensive Division C high school where students have many opportunities to participate and gain relevant real-world experience in robust programs such as publications, music, agriculture, business, robotics and two international trips (including a 45+ year German exchange program). We also offer many extracurricular opportunities including 12 varsity athletic programs, drama club, FFA, DECA (business club), international club and Quiz Bowl.

High school is a time when every student and parent is considering what their next steps will be after graduation. Class choices are more important than ever. Test scores count more than ever. There are more options for academic and extracurricular opportunities. We're here to support every student who is making a plan for their future - whether it's continuing post-secondary education in college or a Career and Technical Education program, or deciding whether to dual enroll at a community college to start earning credits early. We also help facilitate a number of options for our young adults who are undecided about their next steps. It can be stressful, but it's also a time for celebration! Our goal is to make it a partnership with the student, their parents or guardians, and our educators that will lead to every possible success!
