This week we interviewed Ms. Klein, one of our new counselors here at LHS. Ms. Klein graduated from DeWitt High School. She studied at Michigan State University graduating with an undergraduate degree, and she later went on to Grand Valley to receive her master's degree. Ms.Klein has worked within our school district before. Last year she was our Elementary School Counselor, and we are thrilled to have her here with us at Laingsburg High School.
What are your hobbies?
Ms. Klein: “I really like to play pickleball and tennis. I try to do something active every day!”
How was counseling at LES?
Ms. Klein: “I was an intern, but I loved the kids! I am very interested in the high school process of helping to prepare students for college.”
Did you participate in any activities in high school?
Ms. Klein: “Yes, I was a Girl Scout and I also played varsity tennis all four years.”
Give us a fun fact about yourself!
Ms. Klein: "I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I have a collection of Harry Potter merchandise!"
Mrs.Babinski has been preparing Ms.Klein and Mrs.Tirmenstein for when she leaves. We enjoyed interviewing Ms.Klein and we hope that she will enjoy her time here at Laingsburg.
