Students at the ECEC worked with Aspiring Teachers from LMS all year in projects, crafts, and lessons. Last week, Young 5s and Kindergarten students went to visit middle schoolers at their school for the first time to celebrate the end of the year and all their hard work in the program. Students enjoyed decorating the sidewalks with chalk together as well as a popsicle before saying goodbye for the summer.

Congratulations to our Preschool Graduates! They celebrated their accomplishments with a parade to the park, complete with police escort, serenades to their loved ones, cupcakes, and playtime, of course! We're excited to see you all back in the fall and hope you have a great summer.
If you have a child looking to join our preschool program this September please go to https://miearlychildhood.org/ and submit a preschool interest form.

Students and staff at the ECEC are celebrating Ms. Jessica for Secretary's Day today. We appreciate all she does to go above and beyond. Each class participated and made her special drawings, posters, and cards. Mrs. Wilson's class walked to the office this morning to say thank you and read 10 reasons why. Here are a few they came up with:
"for giving us band aids when we get hurt"
"for clipping our nails when we have a hang nail"
"for giving us paw stamps"
"for saying the pledge of allegiance"
"for helping us solve problems"
"for calling our parents when we need them"

Our Young Fives students are learning about growing and gardening, and they get to shop at and work at the Flower Shop. Customers order and pay, and workers follow the orders and make the arrangements!
