Mrs. Green’s 1st grade class spent a snowy day with an IN SCHOOL SNOW DAY! It was fun to eat yogurt snowmen, make snowy crafts, and play snowy games.

Preschoolers at the ECEC are learning about kindness with help from Dr. Erin Brawner. Social Emotional Learning, or SEL, is an important part of our day and we are lucky to have such an amazing instructor to assist in our lessons!

All Aboard!! The children at the ECEC hopped on the Polar Express today and spent some time at the North Pole! ;) Cookie decorating, hot chocolate, jingle bell crafts, pancake lunch, and a viewing of the movie was enjoyed by all. A huge thank you goes out to the parent volunteers and staff who spent time taping out train tracks through the hall ways, assisting our students with all the activities, and making this event so memorable!

Another fun Wolf Pack Wednesday was spent with dancing in the hall ways! Congratulations to our new Pups of the Pack here at the ECEC!
We had a special visitor at the ECEC today, Mr. Grinch! Mr. Grinch started off his visit with some unsafe and disrespectful choices. But, after spending time with Wolfie and our students, he learned how to be safe, respectful, and a team player. Mr. Grinch's heart grew three sizes today and he even earned a red ticket!

T is for Tammy’s and Twilliger’s! Our young fives friends are learning about letter Tt and visited some local places in our neighborhood this week. We enjoyed yummy donut holes at Tammy’s and delicious tater tots at Twilliger’s! Thank you for hosting our young learners!
Preschoolers at the ECEC spent lunch together with a Friendsgiving Celebration! Fun was had by students and teachers alike as they enjoyed pizza and positive interaction. We are all thankful for our wonderful preschool students and the friendships they are building here at the ECEC!
Thank you to our LMS students and families who generously donated to our annual "ThanksGIVEing" food drive for the Laingsburg Food Bank. Our Student Council members worked hard the last 10 days collecting the items needed and then delivering them to the food bank. Thank you everyone!
At the Michigan Historical Center on Wednesday, Ms. Hutchison's class learned about the R.E. Olds and Ford assembly line models with simulation by building a car in each model.
Then they learned about the different structures and functions of bridges we have here in Michigan! Another fun-filled day during the Big History Lesson!
Yesterday, Mr. Meyer’s class had the opportunity to view 160 year old Civil War battle flags! This was one of their memorable experiences while at the Big History Lesson experience at the Michigan Historical Center this week where downtown Lansing becomes their classroom. Thank you to the generous grant from LEAF to make this experience possible for our 5th graders!
