Kindergarten students participated in classroom "Cookie Elections" on Tuesday, November 5th for election day. It was a great experience for students to learn the concept of elections, decision making and critical thinking, majority rule, and community participation. The classes made voter ID cards, posters to promote their vote, and cast their vote on a ballot into the ballot box. In the end OREOS were the winning cookie for all classes! We ended the activity with a yummy Oreo treat!"
