The students at the ECEC have been working hard on their PBIS values and earned a school wide snowman building celebration, but now they need your help! First Grade enjoyed a pizza Valentine's Day Party!




Mrs. Green’s 1st grade class shared some yummy pizza for a Pizza My Heart Valentine’s Day celebration. They continued the fun with pizza questions to build the toppings on their own ‘pizzas’! They LOVE pizza, LOVE learning, and LOVE fun.











Happy 100th Day of School! The 8th grade students met up with their kindergarten buddies at the middle school this morning. The pairs participated in lots of activities all about the number 100.











The LMS Peer-to-Peer team visited the elementary school today to share what they have learned about autism and other learning differences.
Third graders learned what it might be like to experience sensory overload. Fourth and fifth graders learned that people with autism have areas of strength, just like everyone else! They participated in a lesson titled, "We Are ALL Smart Cookies" to learn about multiple intelligences.





Our Employee Spotlight goes to Lisa Kingsbury. She is a seasoned teacher at our middle and high school and does a tremendous job working with our students!


Our new Pups of the Pack were celebrated today at the ECEC! Congratulations to these wonderful classroom leaders!




Last week the 6th graders traveled to the MSU Planetarium and enjoyed ice skating as their whole class Dojo reward!











Shout out to our Middle School Counselor, Mrs. Johnson! We are grateful for all the kind support and SEL learning she gives to our students and families.
Thank you to our school board for understanding and knowing the necessity of having school counselors at every grade level in the district!



The 8th-grade students celebrated reaching their grade level goal for positive behavior points in Class Dojo for the month of January today. Each core teacher provided a small treat for "Dojo Dessert Day" in all of their classes today.
The top earners and most improved student for January received a gift card to Dairy Den.
Great job, 8th-grade students!





Students in art have been working with black-light reactive colors as part of our STEAM "Space" unit. Mrs. Shadbolt pulled out the blacklights Monday for a little "glow fun" on "shine bright with kindness" day. Pictured in the background are a sampling of the upper elementary "I am a Star" Affirmations project.
